Biography
Giovanni Pau is a professor at Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Kore University of Enna, Italy. Prof. Pau received his Bachelor degree in Telematic Engineering from University of Catania, Italy; and both his Master’s degree (cum Laude) in Telematic Engineering and Ph.D. from Kore University of Enna, Italy. Prof. Pau is the author/co–author of more than 35 refereed articles published in journals and conferences proceedings. He is a Member of the IEEE (Italy Section) and has been involved in the organization of several international conferences as session co-chair and technical program committee member. Prof. Pau serves/served as a leading Guest Editor in special issues of several international journals and is an editorial board member as Associate Editor of Journal of Network and Computer Applications (Elsevier), Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing (Hindawi), EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking (Springer), Journal of Computer Science (Science Publications), International Journal of Communication Systems (Wiley), Journal of Computer Networks and Communications (Hindawi), Wireless Networks (Springer) and Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (Springer). His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, home automation, fuzzy logic, Internet of Things and real-time systems. Prof. Pau is responsible for the section "Expert Systems and Networks" of the Computer Engineering and Networks Laboratory (Kore University of Enna).
Research Interest
His research interests include the application of soft computing techniques for real-time systems in wireless networks scenarios.
